Types of layouts

There are many ways that posts and maps can be implemented on a website.  Below are some examples of how other clients have used maps on their website. 
State Visits Map

By creating a post type for state visits or events, you can use maps to show upcoming and future events on a map.  Below is an example of Senator Jerry Moran's implementation of this type of map.

Activities within a region

Senator Marco Rubio used the map display to tag articles, press releases and other post types to show his activities within the state of Florida.  By using the ability to choose multiple post types and the map format option, Sen. Rubio is able to show where and what he's doing withing the state.

Disaster Recovery Assistance Locations

Senator Richard Shelby used the map layout to create a new post for locations where people affected by the storms in Alabama could go to get help.  This implementation was quickly added and provided valuable resources for his constituents.
